My name is Margaret Haden. I grew up in California's Central Valley, but more recently lived in New York where I received my MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. I am now living a relatively nomadic lifestyle, bicoastal one could say.

I make things out of clay. I work with my hands to build vessel oriented objects as well as utilitarian pottery. My process of cutting and removing clay while simultaneously adding and pushing dictates a degree of imperfection in the form, creating a unique organism each and every time.
